W.H. Michael grew up in small towns around the western states of Wyoming, New Mexico, Colorado and Kansas but spent many of his summers in Los Angeles with his mother. He has four wonderful bi-racial children. He lost his wife to cancer when she was only 45 years old and their kids were still very young. W.H. Michael was a bouncer for gay and country and western clubs -- as well as a marketing agent and law enforcement officer. These are the life experiences, that had the greatest impact on his writing.
